Your role:

Seeking a Graduate or an experienced Technician to work in our close-knit team of 5 people based in Wellington your responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking the calibration of evidential breath alcohol devices;
  • Maintain accurate calibration certificates and service records;
  • Development towards a signatory role;
  • Commitment to accuracy, traceability and an understanding of NATA or IANZ laboratory management; environment
  • Fostering a culture of quality and accuracy of all calibration work, measurement uncertainty and calibration of test methodology and calibrated test equipment

Who you are:

You will ideally have a Tertiary qualification and experience in calibrations to a traceable and recognised standard; NATA or IANZ laboratory experience in calibrations, measurement uncertainty and test methodology; additional to this you will:

  • Be able to read and understand technical documentation & diagrams;
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication;
  • Have an ability to perform measurement uncertainty and arithmetic calculations;
  • Be proficient in computer operation including Microsoft office applications, CRM365;
  • Be proficient in using test equipment such as measurement instruments such as voltmeters, flow meters;
  • Hold a current driving license.
