We are an Equal Opportunity Employer seeking a motivated Technician ideally with experience working in industry and oil & gas sites. Step straight into this busy position and utilise your experience in fixed & portable gas detection & process controls; servicing our customers within a diverse range of industries including oil & gas sites, food & beverage production, heavy industrial and higher education laboratories.

Who you are

If you’re a self-starter, based in Perth, have great admin skills, are well presented and trade qualified this is just what you’ve been waiting for. You will:

  • Be a qualified tradesperson (electrical);
  • Possess prior field service experience undertaking fault finding and repairs;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with excellent customer service skills;
  • Strong administration skills and proficiency in computers and MSOffice;
  • Be self-motivated with a positive attitude and current Driver’s Licence; and
  • An Electrical Registration qualification.

Your role

In this position you will complete the administrative activities whilst servicing Dräger’s safety equipment range (fixed & portable gas detection instruments, process controls measures and breathing apparatus) at our customer sites mainly in W.A. however reaching out to N.T. and S.A. When you’re not out in the field you’ll be based in our Malaga workshop. Your tasks will include:

  • Maintenance, repair and testing of Dräger safety products;
  • Prepare detailed quotations for customers;
  • Maintain accurate service records within our management systems;
  • Provide a high level of service and support to our customers; and
  • Provide onsite customer user and maintenance training.
