Are you looking to take ownership of the training of an extensive portfolio? We have a great developmental opportunity for a technical individual to join our head office team in Notting Hill servicing our safety equipment, while providing technical support and training to the national team. Be the point of call for complex servicing for the equipment in our portable and fixed gas detection portfolios.

Who you are

If you’re a self-starter, well presented and trade qualified, this position is just what you’ve been waiting for. You will have an influential personality and:

  • A Degree in Engineering;
  • Completed, or eager to complete, a Training & Assessment qualification;
  • Experience in conducting one-on-one and group training;
  • Prior service experience working with gas detection equipment would be an advantage;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and
  • Proficient in computer usage and Microsoft Office.

 Your role

In this position you will work with Dräger’s safety equipment range in our Notting Hill headquarters. To provide technical training to your internal stakeholders and external customers you will be required to travel across Australia and New Zealand on a regular basis as well as being invited to attend initial training in our company’s head office in Germany. Your tasks will include: 

  • Provide specialised technical service support on assigned portfolio;
  • Conduct technical training to internal and external customers;
  • Develop technical training material with support from the Technical Training Manager;
  • Maintenance, repair and testing of Dräger safety products; and
  • Provide a high level of service and support to our customers.
