Seeking a self-motivated person who wants to make this role their own! As a Field Service Technician taking care of a range of customers in the Brisbane area you will have an opportunity to learn and develop. We have a great opportunity for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in Brisbane. Whilst providing great customer service, you will gain exposure into various industries including oil, gas, food, pharmaceutical, shipping and mining.

Who you are

Based in the Brisbane area, you will be a self-starter, well presented and trade qualified. Our ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified tradesperson (mechanical or electronics);
  • Possess prior field service experience undertaking fault finding and repairs would be beneficial;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with excellent customer service skills;
  • Proficiency in computers and MSOffice; and
  • Have a positive attitude and current Driver’s Licence.

Your role

In this position you will service Dräger’s safety equipment range (electronic gas detection instruments, breathing apparatus and high pressure compressors) at both our customer sites in Brisbane and surrounds and our Archerfield Workshop. Your tasks will include:

  • Maintenance, repair and testing of Dräger safety products;
  • Prepare detailed quotations for customers;
  • Maintain accurate service records;
  • Provide a high level of service and support to our customers; and
  • Provide onsite customer user and maintenance training.
