If you are a Degree qualified, experienced Field Service Engineer looking to join Drägers our high performing Medical Service team based in New Zealand’s North or South Island we would love to hear from you.

Your role:

Ideally you with based in Wellington, with regular travel to main centers throughout New Zealand, your strong customer relationship management skills and technical knowledge will ensure your success in this varied position. In your new position, you will focus on the maintenance and service of Dräger medical devices at our customer sites and will be involved in the installation of new devices and upgrades including providing basic operating instructions, user training of devices, preventative maintenance and replacement scheduling.

With access to our Head Office in Melbourne and on the job training as well as formal technical training you will gain exposure to the whole range of Draeger’s medical portfolio.

To meet our customers’ requirements, you will be required to work on the occasional weekend and after hours (paid overtime will be applicable).

Who you are:

You will ideally reside in Wellington and be an experienced Field Service Engineer. With experience of Biomedical devices and a Degree in Biomedical Engineering, a team player with excellent communication skills you will provide a high level of customer service utilising your knowledge and skills in this highly regarded position.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be provided with a high level of autonomy and in turn your ability to learn new service skills and technical products will be paramount in this position. Added to this, your time management skills, strong communication skills and proficiency in MSOffice will be essential as is a current driver’s licence.

The position of Field Service Engineer is within the Medical division covering the product range of anesthesia workstations, ventilation equipment for intensive care, emergency and mobile ventilation units, warming therapy equipment for infants, patient monitoring equipment, IT solutions and gas management systems. Due to growth in the region, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join the professional and committed team at Dräger based in Wellington.
